Dr. Wayne Cannon has been caring for patients in Columbia since 1967, when he joined the practice of Dr. Clarence McEachern, which later became Drs Eyecare. A graduate of Myrtle Beach High School, he earned both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees from the Southern College of Optometry.

Dr. Cannon served 37 years in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves, retiring as a Colonel after assignments in France, Fort Jackson, and activation during Desert Storm. He has published extensively, lectured nationwide, and served as a clinical investigator in contact lens research. He has received numerous awards for his dedication to the optometric field and remains an active member of the South Carolina Optometric Physicians Association. He is a member of Virginia Wingard United Methodist Church and enjoys boating, the beach, and time with his wife, Anne, grandsons, and great-grandchildren.

Dr. Brian Cannon has been serving the Columbia community as a trusted optometrist since 1992. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Clemson University in 1988 and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1992. That same year, he joined Drs Eyecare, where he continues to provide vision care for patients. He has a long history of community service, including volunteering with Boy Scout Troops 314 and 312 and serving on the American Red Cross Pheresis Board. An Eagle Scout and avid triathlete, he enjoys competing in events such as the Great Floridian Ironman Triathlon. Dr. Cannon and his wife, Dr. Kathy Cannon, have two sons and two grandchildren. He enjoys spending time outdoors and with family.

Dr. Kathy Cannon has been serving patients at Drs Eyecare since 1992, providing comprehensive and compassionate eye care.  A Florida native, she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1992 after completing a double major in Biology and Chemistry at Troy University in 1988.

Outside the office, Dr. Cannon enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time in the Upstate with her two sons and two grandchildren. She is also a devoted Clemson Tigers fan and loves cheering on the team alongside her husband, Dr. Brian Cannon.

Born and raised in St. Matthews, SC, Dr. Cameron Copeland is passionate about providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of Charleston in 2019 and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in 2025.

During optometry school, Dr. Copeland traveled to Belize to provide eye care to underserved communities—an experience that strengthened her passion for service and patient connection. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her dog, reading, and exploring local shops with family and friends.
